Detroit Techno from UR crew from 2006, loving the chords on this.

I have been sitting on this one for quite a long time – too long. Nice alternative take on house music just in time for carnival. Looking forward to having time to do a live dub version of this one.

The Lock got in touch with this track, really well produced and made for the dance floor (tried and tested).

Nice snapshot of what is going on with main room deep house, these guys are going to go far.

Martyn started out on the liquid drum n bass scene, making some movements but he wasn’t pushing boundaries until his dubstep / house / techno / dub mixture which led to him defining his own sound and being fully recognised. Moving on from that, he progressed his sound into a direction more favourable to the Berghain and other mainroom nights. Although already old, this track is a nice summary of where he is at, that is assuming he hasn’t changed it all again.

Be sure to catch him this bank holiday weekend at Secretsundaze x Go Bang.
